Nottingham Labour Party- City Campaign Organiser (Part-time)

Nottingham City Labour Group are looking to employ a City Organiser to help us with our ongoing Campaign Work and build on Nottingham’s electoral successes over recent years.

This position represents a great opportunity to gain experience in working with 50 Labour Councillors, 3 Labour MPs and party members and supporters across the city in taking Labour’s message to city residents and to those in marginal seats outside the city.

The Post holder will work with the Labour Group Leadership and Campaign Officers to build and maintain party campaign activity across the city preparing for the General Election, for Local Elections in 2027 and any other elections during this period of employment.

This post is initially for 3 days per week but may increase in hours subject to mutual agreement nearer to the local elections.
The successful candidate will have most or all of these:

  • Experience of Campaigning with the Labour Party
  • Experience of leading teams
  • Experience of working with volunteers
  • Ability to Inspire and motivate volunteers
  • Experience of using Labour Party technology
  • Experience of training others
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • An ability to work as part of a team and also to work alone

This is a two-year fixed term contract with option to extend.

Pay will start on Point 15 of the Labour Party Pay Scale
£18,784.48 based at 3 days per week (20.25hrs)
